Much needed ran in the forecast Wednesday night and Thursday.

Today continues dry. Wednesday starts out clear with gathering clouds in the afternoon. Wednesday evening, chance of rain becomes likely rain overnight, moderate to heavy at times. Could have some impact on Thursday's commute as the rain continues into Thursday morning.

Total precipitation of 1 to 1¼ inches likely will help a bit with (but not end) the drought. Last rain was Sept 29th, so we are missing several inches.

Cooler temps likely for Friday

Wednesday November 20th

This is shaping up to be a good soaking rain over the next two days.

Today will be dry and overcast, with seasonal highs isn't the 50⁰s

Tonight, rain develops likely after 10pm. Then rain, moderate to heavy, with winds in the 20-25mph range

Rain should be more moderate Thursday morning, eventually becoming showers. However overnight rain may affect Thursday morning commute

Multiple lows complicate the forecast at this point, but some lighter rain is likely during the day Thursday, Thursday night, and Friday. Winds could continue in the 20-25mph range throughout the period. Some snow showers might mix in overnight Thurs - Fri but no accumulation here, and temps near the ground should stay well above freezing so ice is also quite unlikely although be careful if you have to go west or north, especially into the highlands

Clearing likely over the weekend

Total rainfall could be in the 1.5 to 2 inch range, the bulk coming between midnight and 7am tonight. Not enough to lift the drought in itself, but a good start

Parents were to be lied to and kept in the dark about their children’s sexuality by progressive teachers. To object to these changes was to be ignorant and to be vocal was too scary. So the voting booth provided the platform to speak up.

The voters disliked and objected to how the Democratic leadership kept Biden at the helm for their own needs, lying to the voters, with the help of his family and Kamala far too long. It gave  Biden a place in the history books, but not how he would want to be remembered.

Certainly not the  DNC’s proudest moment.

World War III is well underway.  Ukraine is just one theater of operations.

Why insane Nan thinks it hasn't started yet is quite beyond me.

Of course, insane Nan thinks Nazis in Ukraine are a problem.  

People who aren't insane are worried about the U.S. under Trump becoming like Hungary under Orban.  People who aren't insane worry about right wing white supremacists become empowered under Trump.

Professor Snyder is more alarmed than usual. I think he's following "Heinlein's Razor" approach to Trump's nominations: “Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity, but don't rule out malice.”

The easiest way would be to get Americans to do the work themselves, to somehow induce Americans to undo their own health, law, administration, defense, and intelligence. From this perspective, Trump's proposed appointments -- Kennedy, Jr.; Gaetz; Musk; Ramaswamy; Hegseth; Gabbard -- are perfect instruments. They combine narcissism, incompetence, corruption, sexual incontinence, personal vulnerability, dangerous convictions, and foreign influence as no group before them has done. These proposed appointments look like a decapitation strike: destroying the American government from the top, leaving the body politic to rot, and the rest of us to suffer.

This provocative, crazy sounding list is just propaganda.  You can tell he's going to be on our side because of the way the media is smearing him as a nutcase.  I just hope he gets though the confirmation process.  It's not going to be easy.  

I'm all on board with someone who is dedicated to making our food and medicine clean and healthy.  I don't care how nutty his questions sound.  Better that than someone who just goes along and says there is nothing wrong.  You can tell there is something wrong just by sitting on a bench and watching people go by.  

I'm pretty sure the question I asked was "is anything in the list untrue". 

There is no need for him to take office to find out if these things are true. They are all well documented.
