IRA Rebates for home energy efficiency

Under the Inflation Reduction Act, there is provision for rebates for making homes more energy efficient, e.g., up to $8000 rebates for the installation of heat pumps.  But first, states need to have a state office of energy and they must apply for the funds from the federal government.

Looking at the states that have not yet applied for the federal funds, one finds states like Florida, Tennessee, Idaho.....and New Jersey.
