Incessant Teterboro Private jet traffic over the area

Anyone else notice the suddenly nonstop very low flying inbound/outbound Teterboro jet traffic since September?

Bergen/Passaic made a stink and in response this Summer it appears the FAA has turned the approach wheel so that all the inbound comes in from the south over Essex towns. Jets come in at 2000, and out over Livingston a bit higher. 5am to past 11pm.  

Is your query addressed to those of us living in Livingston or Maplewood/South Orange?

Based on the Port Authity flight track map, I believe all are directly impacted, as well as Millburn, Springfield, Irvington, Orange and West Orange.

I lived in Teaneck in my high school years. My bedroom windows often rattled from the Teterboro airplanes.

It's been happening for as long as I have lived here.

No, I've been here almost 25. Beginning somewhere around September, the low inbound flights over the Central/West Essex corridor destined for Teterboro have increased.  It's not the standard Newark traffic of which we are all aware. They seem to be stacking up to head north to avoid the Bergen Passaic routes.

This is not new.  Teterboro traffic has been flying over our area for years. Maybe not all the time, but it's been happening for a long time.  Look at the configuration of the runways.  We line up perfectly with one of them.

My experience is that commercial jets are much quieter now than 15-20 years ago.   I think the improved jet engines are the reason for this.   Also, this site can be scanned for the whole world.    There are thousands of flights.  But check Ukraine...no flights.  Also, when bad weather hits an area, you can see the planes diverted around the storm.  The planes often follow each other.
