A farming family in the south west part of the Australian state of Victoria are being helped by their Jack Russell terrier, which has learned to drive one of their trucks, and is quite good at it, too!

True. But seeing as it's only in first gear or low range, I don't think it's travelling very quickly. And with the master on the back tossing off the hay, he can always jump off and rescue the situation or save the day or something.  Of course, if the truck was to run into something substantial, chances are the engine would just stall, anyway.
