Join the Maplewood Garden Club and Dr. Amy Rowe as she presents “Saving Water for Your Garden & Home,” a lecture about learning how to use water wisely in your home, garden, and yard; a body of knowledge that can ensure that we have clean fresh water for generations to come. Water conservation can save your home money and can protect this limited natural resource. Dr. Amy Rowe is the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Natural Resources Agent for Essex and Passaic Counties and has worked in the environmental field for more than 15 years. Her background is in water chemistry with a concentration on the fate and transport of contaminants. Hear Dr. Rowe at the MGC on Monday, April 1st at 7:30pm. Her presentation will follow a brief business meeting and conclude with a live Q&A session.
